This sign means?
- Bicycle parking
- This road is an official bicycle route ✓
- Bicycle shop ahead
- Bicycle not allowed
Answer: B. This road is an official bicycle route
This sign means the road is an official bicycle route.
Why this is the answer
The handbook lists this sign as meaning the road is an official bicycle route, and it tells drivers to watch for cyclists and be ready to share the road with them. That matches the answer about an official route. It does not say the sign marks parking, points to a shop, or bans bicycles; the wording is about cyclists being expected on that road.
Why the other answers are wrong
- A. Bicycle parking — The handbook ties this sign to cyclists using the road, not to a place for parking bicycles.
- C. Bicycle shop ahead — Nothing in the passage says the sign points to a bicycle shop ahead.
- D. Bicycle not allowed — The sign identifies an official bicycle route, so it does not mean bicycles are banned.
Remember it
Route sign means riders belong there: watch for them and share the road.
